Nyngan Solar Flagship (103MW)
In 2009, the federal government started a solar flagship project aimed to consume 20% of energy from renewable sources by 2020. The purpose was to ensure that solar energy is the biggest power source across various communities. They were already able to construct large-scale, grid-connected solar power stations that can produce 103MW.
Tailem Bend (127MW)
This project was constructed for VENA Energy by UGL, a company in Australia and one of the largest fixed-tilt solar farms in the region and across the nation.
Thargomindah (130kW)
This project is also considered one of Australia’s largest sectors that aims to produce 103kW for the local communities in the said region.
